Sonic just regained conciousness after taking a big fall. He was still in Station Square. He was delirious and a little lightheaded. The person who appeared to have saved him was a fit young bird who looked a lot like a purple version of Jet. Only he he looked a whole lot bigger. He had a small backpack on and it didn't look full.
Sonic: Who are you? Where is Eggman?
???: You won't have to worry about him, I took care of him for you. Man are you lucky I happened to show up.

It didn't make sense, he had never felt this way before. He ignored it and stared at the tv which was showing news. Tails was working on the X tornado which had engine problems. Newswoman: Eggman appears to have a new machine! He is causing mass mayhem in the Square! G.U.N. soldiers and machines are getting destroyed in the process! Fortunately nobody has been hurt. It appears that nobody can stop him!
